About Clubhouse

PHA Clubhouse Tacoma helps people living with mental illness build confidence, independence, and wellness.

For people living with mental illness, life can feel lonely.

When you live with mental illness, it can be hard to feel great. You may face:

  • Feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Self-doubt that makes it recover a sense of wellbeing
  • Difficulty maintaining steady employment
  • Lack of affordable housing
  • Difficulty accessing healthy food

Mental health resources help in a crisis
but then what?

Most mental health resources handle crisis situations, but they’re not designed to give ongoing community and support to people living with mental illness.

PHA Clubhouse Tacoma offers the missing piece — a community where members are accepted and welcomed, just as they are.

A place where you can belong, as you grow a productive, healthy life.

At PCA Clubhouse Tacoma, we know that caring for mental health takes more than just medication and therapy appointments.

In order to truly thrive, you need to have people in your corner, supporting you to reach your goals. That’s what we do!

Join a community that understands mental health challenges.

A model that works.

At PCA Clubhouse Tacoma, we know that caring for mental illness takes more than just medication and therapy appointments. In order to create a real sense of improvement, you need to have people in your corner — who accept you for who you are, and support you in reaching your goals.

That’s why since 2017, we’ve helped more than 300 people with mental illness find ongoing support and friendship as they work towards their goals. We understand how to support a better life for people with mental illness.

Our program is structured to promote social connection and wellbeing, as members work towards meaningful goals.
